Cool Marketing Thoughts

There’s a new series of ‘PC vs Mac’ ads that has been released on the Apple.com site. These ones are actually slightly better than the first ones I wrote about a month ago. Although they’re in the same meme, the subjects touched are a bit more to the point. There’s still a lot of cliches as you could’ve expected. But either I’m getting used to this sense of humor (which I hope I’m not) or the content of the ads is a bit more funny to listen to. I haven’t quite figured it out. Whatever. I think the first one makes a valid point, as opposed to some other clips of the previous series. The ‘out of the box’ thing is true. The ‘Pie Charts’ clip (second one) is funny, but the comparison is rather lame. But it’s a geeky take on leisure time. I think I’d stick to the PC and Windows, just because of the pie charts I can make to illustrate my holiday. :) The third one is called ‘Touché’. It’s the third clip of the three. Nothing to add about it.
