Pimp My Bus Stop

21 May 2006

It seems that IKEA has found the true path to remarkable outdoor media, first with the installation of house-cubes in Japan, now with another one on West 57th Street where they’ve dressed up bus shelters with some nice modern furniture. Talk about branding the environment! I know some places in Belgium where an installation like this would last for about 30 minutes. However, IKEA would sure make some people happy by contributing to their home decoration with free stuff :)
