For The Axe Ads Archive

26 Mar

Axe ads are so great. I’ve been posting a lot of them lately because they’re always so funny and/or inspiring. I think this brand easily qualifies as the one of the strongest and most original advertisers. Agreed, not all of the ads have that same originality or sheer brilliance, but most of them do. Here are a few more ads to add to your own archive:

Axe Effect 14

Axe Effect 13

Axe Effect 12

Axe Effect 11

Axe Effect 10

The caption in the last ad is quite unreadable: it says: “this is how you see the new Axe Wash”, under the ‘erected’ Axe Wash it says: “and this is how women see it”.

Hehehe. Clever. I like it a lot. Very less-is-more-ish.

Axe/Lynx ClickGame

19 Mar

Axe/Lynx has launched yet another cunning website that just begs for interaction. The clickmore.com (nobody ever thought of taking that domain name before? How odd…) is a Flash based interaction zone that has 5 options with an equal amount of saucy vixens to promote these options. I picked the UK version, so I could have the english version of the campaign. In the game, you need to click, that’s pretty obvious. Every time you play a level, some prizes get unlocked (finishing level one reveals two wallpapers, and so on). Ending the game in style reveals sexy 5 wallpapers. You can also win a clicker, if you see the site you know why and how you can use it :)

Axe/Lynx Clicker Game

In section two, you can learn what makes girls click. This section takes you to the joy of clicking, and describes what it means to be clicked or to click someone. It’s some sort of FAQ and tips in one section. In this section, there’s a ‘pimp my clicker’ chapter to define what kind of clicker a personality should have, and how he should wear it.

Section 3 is where the ad is shown. It’s the video section where you can see Ben Affleck collect some clicks on his run through town. In section 4 you can claim a clicker for your own.

Section 5 is somewhat weird, and depending on the country you selected, you get an entirely different site and prize. Belgians can win a trip to the party island Ibiza, UK fellow clickers can find a date in their neighborhood, Russian guys are taken to the axeffect.ru site and so on…

Check out Clickmore.com or if you go to the UK, find a clickable girl there

Axe Ads (Final)

I think I’m through the archive now. There’s no more ads left in my folders. Enjoy these last ones, until I find some more.

Axe 6

Axe 7

Axe 8

This one is from Lowe, Lintas & Partners – Sao Paulo

Axe 9

Okay, so far for the Axe show on this blog.

Some More Axe Ads

16 Mar

I found these ones on BriefBlog, but never came to blogging them. So, I might as wel do it now.

This one is made by Lowe for the United Arab Emirates. It’s a sticker that had been hung in the restrooms for men.

Axe Peephole

This one is pretty old, I don’t know who made it, but pictures can say more than words. That’s a statement this images underlines.

Lynx Archive

16 Mar

Lynx is Axe rebranded, mostly for the UK market. I don’t know if it’s also available in other countries. Anyway, they have an archive online with ad clips, wallpapers and screensavers, and I like that.

More Axe Ads

16 Mar

These are some ads that were tucked away safely somewhere in a folder on my hard disk. I’ll add them, just for viewing pleasure.

Axe 1

Axe 2

Also check out the Axe-feather site, if you didn’t see that already. It’s quite funny.

Some More Axe Ads

Apparently from the New Yorkish BBH. They’ve been around for a while, but I’m starting to collect Axe ads, so I might as well add them to my online archive.
