I love the little twist in this campaign. Besides the fact that it’s totally disarming to see a woman in tears and that it really makes every man feel tender and filled with compassion at the same time, it’s pretty weird to see how powerful a snapshot can be. This photoshoot was done for Piero Milano’s ‘men only’ jewel collection. The sad news for women is that they won’t get any of the good stuff this time, which is why they are crying. A fresh approach, nice visuals and the jewels don’t look bad either.

    I do wonder how they made these women cry their eyes out so convincingly… Or perhaps I don’t want to know. One thing I do know: no onion can do that… :-)

    I think that the answer to that question holds the art of photography or ‘editing’ (with Photoshop). Either way, I just love these pics!
