Okay, time for some short announcements and stuff I thought was interesting but didn’t had time for to blog, or that is just good to know but ‘on the fly’ and not worth a separate post.

  • I’m looking forward to see what the guys over at the VIA agency are going to pull, because they announced on the 3rd of November that they’ve bought their first island in Second Life, for a project that they’re working on for a client. More info coming soon. I hope soon is tomorrow.
  • Spin Thicket is like Fark, but then for creatives. Tune in there once in a while. You might like it.
  • Some guy in France put his marketing blog up for sale on eBay and got 201 Euros for it. (255 dollar). What a sharade. I wouldn’t even sell for ten times that much.
  • Franki from durbinmedia.com wrote me an email to say how much he enjoyed my blog. E-mails like that make me happy, especially from people like Franki. Here’s some linklove back-at-cha. Cheers!
  • Travis from The Ad Feed collects a bunch of interesting blogfeeds on his site. His project is kind of like a marketing blog aggregator and he wrote me to say he added my blog in it as well. Cool! If you have no RSS reader at work and you want to see what’s going on in Ad/Marketing Land in a glance, check out The Ad Feed and you’ll be instantly informed.
  • Thomas from Publicis Net Paris wrote in to say they launched a pretty neat Flash site for Thomson’s new MP3 player, the Black Diamond. The site is a beauty, and the player – dubbed ‘300 carats of High Fidelity’ – looks pretty cool, but I’ll stick to the large screen of the Zune. The Flash site is a sensual experience that plays with the senses of touch and hearing and it’s a pleasure to look at. Nice work. Nice player. Small screen.

Okay, that’s it for now. :-)

Neat site, but it took me forever to figure out what the product was. Not a good sign.

No, indeed, the specs are also very well hidden, actually I didn’t find them at all… :) but the site looks cool.

Specs are in the bottom right corner, visible all the time!

Ah yes, now that you mention it. I’ve found them. I never looked outside of the action screen in the center, sorry! My bad.
