Emerce eDay Swag

14 Sep 2006

Here’s a picture of the loot of today :) After all, what would a marketing event be without swag? In the Flickr set from the Emerce eDay, I’ve also added two dozen of other pictures from the morning train ride, and from the event itself at the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam. Surprize of the day was without any doubt when I met Hans Mestrum at the end of the event. Too bad we didn’t saw each other earlier. Maybe next time there’ll be time for a beer and a chat. I hope so.

Swag from eDay

Tulips, a coffee mug, decorative USB lights, mints from Commence and Dedigate, a Google bag, some key rings, some key rings with ribbons, a dozen of pens, Google notebooks with “I’m feeling lucky” on the bottom of each blank page, energy drinks and post-it notes, an ice scraper for the windows of the car, my oxygen feeder from the oxygen bar and a pair of sweatbands for the wrists.
Nice treasure. Cool day.

No, the PC is mine and I already had it before eDay, but I used it to demo the USB light :)

You collected quite some swag. I just left eDay (and eNight) with a lot of information, new contacts, interesting conversations and a bit of a tired feeling ;)

:) I met some nice people as well, but unfortunately we didn’t stay for the eNight. We were all getting tired and there’s been a train accident near Dordrecht, so we expected some delays on our way back… and we didn’t want to risk getting stranded in Rotterdam. Too bad we didn’t meet. I was looking for Marco as well, but I never got to see him… it was so crowded you actually had to be lucky to see the people you wanted to.

I agree. Did you went to the WOM lunch session? That was thé way to meet some of the Dutch bloggers :)
I should have looked better who had the plans to go to eDay. O well, better luck next time ? When will you visit Holland again?

(and did you get back alright? I went home around 11 o ‘clock and I got stuck in a traffic jam! Terrible)

No, I didn’t went to the WOM lunch session. I totally missed it. I didn’t plan on going to eDay, I heard the day before that I could go instead of my boss, who had an important meeting. Lucky me.

We took the international train at 8.24 PM and I was home around 10 PM. Tired, but satisfied. I don’t know when I’ll be in Holland again, but we’ll keep reading each other :) and then we’ll meet again, somehow, somewhere. :)
