Unusually Persistant Stains

09 Sep 2006

I like the artwork for these ads, because the visuals stress the message they want to communicate. Although it might seem a bit far-fetched, there isn’t a better way to display ‘really sticky stains’ than the way they’ve done it here. Of course, you can start to nag about it, but I know how hard it is to find a decent visual for a topic like this, and given these rather difficult circumstances (product and message) I think they’ve done a really good job. I also like the way they’ve pictured the method in which the stains are ‘attached’ to the fabric, based on the environment the stains usually are created in. Staples for the ink stains from the office, piercings for the lipstick stains from some wild girl and screws for the oil stains of some dirty work outdoor. Nice.
