Craprr Is Gone

22 Jun 2006

Jason and I decided to kill craprr.com and redirect the domain to his new blog. We made our point, we had our slogan. ‘Loser-generated content’ is still all around, we just don’t have time to save up on the bullshit we come across and reblog it over at craprr.

We had a good laugh, and yeah, there was quite some traffic. But really. There’s other and more important things to attend to right now. Instead of letting craprr die and stop posting while the blog was still live, we decided it would be better to put an end to it right away.

The only thing I took with me is the great Listr. A list of all ‘rrrrrr’ 2.0 companies that recently popped up in the slipstream of Flickr and thought the ‘r’ was a necessary item to be able to qualify for ‘being 2.0′. I’ll blog the entire list later tonight in a new post, because I still have to add some new things to it. The rest wasn’t even worth taking over because we didn’t call it ‘Loser-generated content’ for its good quality. Au contraire, my dearest friends. :)

If you were a visitor at craprr.com, glad we had you in there for a laugh. We hope you had some fun, so did we. But now it’s time to move on.

Although we thought we came up with the slogan ‘Loser-generated content’, somebody beat us to it. Alex Barnett already mentioned it in November 2005. Damn. We never even Googled the phrase untill now. :) Ah well. Whatever.
