Mothers Against Drunk Driving (what a powerful name) asked Calder Bateman Communications to design a prevention campaign. The slogan the agency came up with is “don’t make it a grad to forget”. As horrible as it might seem, it’s an unfortunate fact that too many teens combine drinking and driving on the night of their graduation, which too often leads to fatal accidents. There’s nothing worse than losing your teen in the dawn and the beginning of his/her next life. While I was in high school, I too lost a few friends due to alcohol + driving. It’s hard. I hope this campaign works. Friends don’t let friends drive drunk. I wish somebody said that to the guys that aren’t here anymore.

Don't make it a grad to forget...
