For the 2005 Winter Appeal of the Salvation Army, Leo Burnett Company (Chicago) came up with real blankets/posters with the message encouraging the homeless to use the blanket poster if and when needed, or to take it away if you knew someone who might need it. Useful, brilliant. It turns traditional marketing in experiental marketing, not by making an event out of it but by actually envolving the target audience to actively participate IN the message. I love this.
