Artfield Landscape Art

06 Mar 2006

A German company named Artfield has been creating outdoor ads since the nineties, and they’re quite good at what they do. The designs are especially aimed for sky traffic and often cover very large fields. A good way to get the message through, if you can find a farmer who’s willing to give up his harvest in exchange for enough cash to make this happen.

It’s a bit weird this story pops up, because apparently the latest work is already 4 years old (as far as the work is dated), still it’s pretty remarkable. Next to the ads, Artfield also has ‘art projects’ which don’t seem to be related to a brand or company.

I also wonder if it was done by the ArtField LandArt shapers the blogosphere was buzzing about a couple of weeks ago. [...]
