Heineken Billboard Campaign

01 Mar 2006

Lovely billboard campaign for a beer I’m not particularly fond of. If the beer was as great as the marketing, I’d buy it right away, but being from Belgium I guess I’m a little spoiled when it comes to beer. Anyway, check out the theme and examples of Heineken’s billboard action. It’s a great concept, and I like it a lot.

[...] How very weird. A few months ago I posted a Heineken billboard series that was pretty cool. I didn’t know the agency who created the ads, but they were quite stunning. Graphically, it was a nice piece of art. Very recently I saw the same ads pop up on the 24 blog, but slightly different. This series were made by Bates in Singapore, so maybe I could assume the other billboards were also produced by Bates? The only difference (and that’s why I post them here) is that the entire image is used in this campaign, instead of the cut-outs that were used in the previous one. Since the tagline is different, I might assume that it’s a new campaign (or an older one, I don’t know). Fact is, they simply recycled the images, but then again, some new ones were added. Funny.
