Customizing Google Menu Tabs

12 Feb 2006

With Kamambe you can choose which menu tabs you want to view above the Google search box. You can also add new tabs. It works reasonably well, and updates will come as I receive feedback. Currently it works with english-based Google sites.

Kamambe

Requirements:
Firefox 1.5 and the Greasemonkey extension.
(You will need to install the extension before the script will work.)

Once the greasemonkey script has been saved to your computer, open it in Firefox (drag and drop it into the browser), and then click the Install button that appears (if you don’t see the button go to Tools -> Install This User Script). Reload any open Google pages and you will see the script in action.

Kamambe now has Opera support, and a few new tabs to other search engines like Yahoo and Amazon.
