Torino Conversations

11 Feb 2006

Coca Cola went 2.0 and has a remarkable way of showing their commitment to the power of conversations:

Coca-Cola has invited six promising, university-level journalism students â,?o from Austria, Canada, China, Germany, Italy and the United States â,?o to Torino, Italy, to attend the Olympic Winter Games and share their experiences with the world. The students/graduates were chosen for their aptitude in their chosen course of communications studies.

While in Torino, they are attending the athletic events and medals award ceremonies, interacting with working journalists at the Coca-Cola Press Lounge, and enjoying the sights and sounds and cultural aspects of this European host city.

The student journalists have a global online stage for sharing their experiences with fans around the world. Their postings are not meant to be straight reporting of the sports, but rather a colorful look at what it really is like to be at the Olympic Winter Games. And the â,”Torino Conversationsâ, blog gives online visitors the ability to respond and share their personal comments with the world community.
