Cool Marketing Thoughts

Randy’s KB Cafe Blog Awards have come to an end and after two weeks of voting and mostly a lot of waiting, the winners have been announced. This blog apparently won an award too, in the category of ‘Best Marketing Blog’, although I don’t consider myself to be ‘better’ than Rubel’s Micro Persuasion or Seth Godin’s Blog . They probably didn’t even know there was voting going on, otherwise I’d have ended up in third place, which still would have been very good. I didn’t really made great news off it either, because frankly I thought I never stood a chance, being such a youngster amongst these titans in my category. Nevertheless, most likely thanks to Nathan’s post about the awards, I gathered some votes and apparently enough to come out first place. Nathan himself didn’t do bad either, with a first place for ‘Best Microsoft Blog’. Philipp won the ‘Best Google Blog Award’ and Jason the ‘Best Apple Blog Award’. Thanks to all who’ve voted, wherever you guys are.
