Some pretty impressive campaigns have been launched recently. Tune in to some fine advertisement.
“To announce the arrival of the BRAVIA LCD and 3LCD range, we wanted to get across a simple message – that the colour you’ll see on these screens will be ‘like no other’. Sending 250,000 multi-coloured ’superballs’ bouncing down the streets of San Francisco may seem the strangest way to do this, but that’s exactly what Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig did for the BRAVIA commercial in July this year.”
Arnold Worldwide created the microsite and multi-channel advertising for the Volkswagen Passat campaign, coordinating with three production houses to manage the volume the 120 small clips produce.
“This is one of the biggest presences we’ve had on the Web for the Passat,” said Tesa Aragones, media/new media director for Volkswagen.” via [AdLand]
Visit the microsite, see the clips.
Heineken meets Google. Visitors can suggest where on the earth they would love to be able to use a perfectly tapped beer. Using google images they can search for a location to do so, then the ‘tapvat’ (the hometap) should be taken with them to that location. If you have found your image, it gets transformed into an e-card which you can send to your friends. The most original location gets selected, and the user who entered the location can go there, hometap included. via [MarketingFacts]
Check out the site and create your e-card (Dutch)
Next to this Google Images e-card stuff, there’s a pretty cool viral that explains what Heineken is all about. You too can start your own fanclub. :) Damn. This rocks !

Update : temporary problems, so it seems – or they kicked out the domain.
Update: 10/17/2006: Hey cool! it works again! Since YouTube is now off-grounds for me, I’ve uploaded the clip to Yahoo!Video, where I hope it’ll stay online forever :)
Hooray for Yahoo!Video.

[...] This one is the best I’ve seen up until now. They spoofed that original Sony Bravia Ad, with all the coloured balls, and switched them with all kinds of fruit to turn it into a commercial for Tango. Absolutely brilliant. [...]
