My nephew is still working for Dubois Meets Fugger, and that small agency launched a rather clever campaign (again) for a small audience. Nevertheless, the campaign gained quite some visibility because of its unique execution and the ad traveled around in the blogosphere. The target audience were people who love to dive, and the organization that ordered the ads was the COWA Diving Club in Antwerp, which gives diving lessons and organizes group travel and diving excursions to lovely places all over the world. The ad was placed on the bottom of the olympic swimming pool “Wezenberg” in Antwerp, where the club has its training sessions. The copy reads “Niet diep genoeg?” which means “Not deep enough?”, with a line of text added that said you could ask for more information at the information desk/ticket stand at the entrance. Well done !

Just when you thought it was safe to assume that advertising people has run out of clever placement ideas….great campaign!

Neat idea! I’m interested to see if and how this catches on.
Which langauge is that written in? It’s similar to German: “Nicht tief genug?”
I like your blog, found it via a Business 2.0 Magazine article about YouTube.
